In recognition of LGBTQIA+ History Month, I am pleased to Spotlight guest author Jeff Main, an LGBTQIA+ leader and the Executive Director of Point of Pride, an organization dedicated to helping trans youth and adults access the life-saving health and wellness services they need. Next week, I will be in NYC to take part in the TCS New York City Marathon festivities and events. On Thursday, November 2, at 2 pm ET at Citizens Stage at the TCS New York City Marathon Expo, I am speaking on a panel, "Evolution of the Sport," focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in the running. This Marathon Weekend marks the 2.5-year partnership between April Haus Inc. and New York Road Runners (NYRR) on nonbinary implementation across all NYRR races, including the TCS New York City Marathon. In 2021, the TCS New York City Marathon became the first major marathon to implement a nonbinary division, and since then, nonbinary participation has grown across all NYRR races.
